Everything on this page is the sort of thing a reader is entitled to know before trusting a single figure elsewhere on the site.

Affiliate Commission
We earn commission from some of the brokers on this site. If you open an account through one of our links, that broker may pay us a fee — usually a share of the spread or commission you would have paid anyway, or a one-off payment for a funded account.
It costs you nothing. The account you open through our link is the same account, on the same terms, as one opened directly with the broker. We do not receive a share of your losses.
Not every broker on this site pays us. We cover brokers we have no commercial relationship with, including brokers we have no way of monetising, and they are researched and rated by exactly the same standard.
What Commission Does Not Affect
This is the part that matters, and it is a structural boundary rather than a promise of good behaviour.
The commercial terms are not available to the editorial side. The records our reviews are written from contain no commission rates, no payout models and no commercial priorities. That information is deliberately kept in a separate place that the research and writing do not touch.
The reason is simple: a rating cannot be influenced by a number that nobody producing it has seen. It is a weaker system than trusting people to be fair, and it is far more reliable.
So: rankings are not for sale, ratings are not for sale, and a broker cannot pay to be included, excluded, or described differently. Where a broker we earn from is the wrong choice for a particular reader, its own review says so. If we ever failed that test, the site would be worth nothing, which is the strongest incentive we have.
Risk Warning
Trading forex and contracts for difference is high risk, and most retail traders lose money.
CFDs are leveraged products. Leverage multiplies gains and losses alike, and a position can lose more than the amount you intended to risk. Prices can move sharply, markets can gap through the level you expected to exit at, and a stop order does not guarantee the price it is filled at.
Money sent to an offshore broker may be harder to recover than money held domestically, and the protections available to you depend on which company holds your account and where it is regulated — not on the brand on the website.
Only risk money you can afford to lose entirely, and treat any offer of guaranteed returns, managed accounts promising profits, or signal services with a success rate as what it is.
Not Advice
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing here takes your circumstances into account, because we do not know them.
We are not licensed as financial advisers in any jurisdiction and we do not provide personal recommendations. Our reviews describe what we found in a broker’s documents and registers; our country pages describe what we read in the law. What you should do with that is your decision, and on anything significant it is worth taking local professional advice first.
Accuracy and Dates
Every factual claim on this site carries the date it was verified. Between that date and the day you read it, things may have changed — brokers rewrite their terms, regulators issue directives, and tax rules move with each budget.
We re-check our records on a schedule and flag the pages that depend on them, but we cannot guarantee that every figure is current at the moment you read it. Before depositing, confirm the numbers that matter with the broker directly — particularly minimum deposits, withdrawal fees and anything the broker publishes only inside an account.
Where we could not establish something, we say so rather than estimating it.
Third-Party Links and Content
Links to brokers, regulators and payment providers are provided for verification and convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their terms, or what they do with your data.
Where we quote a broker’s documents, the quotation is from the version published on the date stated. Where we cite a regulator’s register, that is what the register showed on that date.
Jurisdiction
This site publishes research about brokers operating in African markets and is not directed at residents of the European Union or European Economic Area.
Nothing here is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument, or to open an account, in any jurisdiction where that would be unlawful. Whether you may lawfully open an account with a particular broker depends on your own country’s law, and our country pages are where we set out what we found on that question.
Errors
If something here is wrong, tell us — with a source if you have one. Substantive corrections are made visibly rather than quietly.
